Since 2015 we’ve helped teachers across the country incorporate hydroponic gardening into their classrooms.

When a student plants a seed, enjoys the wonder of watching it sprout, and takes care of the plant, they are more likely to eat it. Plus veggies grown in a classroom can taste much better than veggies served in a cafeteria, creating the desire for students to eat more.

Science, technology, engineering, and math can all be integrated into the hydroponic gardening learning experience. Hydroponic gardening can even be looked on favorably by a STEM certification review committee.

Although science is an important subject that can be taught, hydroponic gardening in the classroom goes well beyond science. Students can learn life skills by growing plants in their classrooms.
